The Metropolitan Police Department and the Howard University Police Department are investigating the armed robbery of several students at two different locations.
At approximately 3:05 am, a female student reported to the security officer stationed at the Quadrangle that there was a robbery in progress.  When the officer came out to provide assistance he observed several victims on the ground. At this time the armed subject saw the officer and pointed the gun in his direction.  The suspect along with four others fled the scene in a Black or dark colored Dodge Ram or Ford 150 four door pickup or extended cab truck with light tinted windows which was observed traveling north on 4th St. N.W. toward Drew Hall.

At approximately 3:16 am, a second robbery was reported in the 500 Block of Gresham Place, N.W., involving subjects with the same description. In this incident three males were robbed at gun point as they were leaving Drew Hall. All victims were robbed of personal property and one victim reported injuries to his face, but refused medical treatment.
